CHIEFTAIN COOKOUT

The Chieftain Cookout is a "Pink Out" fundraising event in which all of the proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Association, with focus on Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. We started this tradition in June of 2014 under cloudy and rainy skies. Through it all, we were able to raise a substantial amount of money for this cause.

In addition to raising money for a great cause, another idea is to give our student body and faculty an opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves before exams start. Last year along with the cookout, we had a couple of events, like two flag football games that saw the senior girls (coached by members of our graduating football players) face off against the junior girls (coached by our junior football players) and the senior boys battle members from the Conard staff.

Every year we will look to add new ideas and make the event bigger and better than before. One new idea for this year will be adding our Scarlet/Gray Spring Game as the main event that evening to conclude.
